You can pay your bill online using your credit card for a convenience fee of $.30 plus 1.9% of your transaction amount. Be sure to read the SEARCH TIPS first as that will make finding the records you are looking for that much easier. Late payment of vehicle taxes with a Department of Motor Vehicle tag fee due will result in a late fee payable to the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles.

Decals will be issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles after all taxes and fees have been paid.

Late fees may be paid at a South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicle office or on-line at www.scdmvonline.com by choosing the link titled “Use our Public Service Site” and then going to “Complete a Registration Renewal”.
